Sam Fanaroff
From the High Veldt of South Africa to the rolling Downs of Sussex, with stops and chapters too numerous to mention. A self-confessed thief who has stolen ideas and influences from the great practitioners who have so immeasurably enriched this world we live in. If you notice a touch of Mondrian, Malevich, Mackintosh, Calder or the whole Art Nouveau Movement, I am unashamedly guilty. Though I may only reach the height of their bootlaces, disporting myself in that abundant vein has been an adventure and an education. At the end of the day my object is to produce an honest piece of work,the ripples of the great evident, but with an added definitive touch of my own.
