I use a number of different working methods to produce various
ranges of work. Most of the work that I make is individually designed
and one-off. Natural colours and materials feature prominently in
all the ranges. These may include exotic woods, amber, precious
and semi-precious metals and stones. I enjoy using a number of different
materials on each piece to provide interest. For many years I have been making bangles with hand carved exotic hardwood beads. I have now developed this idea to produce a range of earrings, bracelets and necklaces. As well as the wooden pieces these incorporate many different semi-precious stones and precious metals. I have developed my own techniques to make original designs which are then used in the lost wax casting process. Because of the range of options, this jewellery is in effect one-off, although most of is actually repeatable.
